My services were engaged in Brisbane by Dr Xing Li, the host of an important international forum discussing ‘Science, Technology, Commercialisation and Innovation’. This was an important venture as it involved many Government officials, Professors, Leaders from both China and Australia and interested participants globally.
Dr Li required a diverse range of services from Robico which started with a building a multilingual WordPress website for both the English and Chinese speaking attendees of the forum, designing and formatting a PDF forum handbook covering all the important information about the forum and program schedule, designing name tags for the forum participants as well as powerpoint slides for the forum speakers to use for their presentations.
After a few discussions with the forum committee, we designed and developed a visually appealing conference website that matched the forum colours (blue and red) and is user friendly on mobile, tablet and desktop. Some of the feature that we included for the QCase forum website includes a rotating carousel of the featured speakers, a countdown clock to remind people when the forum begins, a slideshow of images that showcase beautiful Brisbane and a secured members area which allows forum participants to access information which isn’t available to the general public.
Once the conference website was finalised, the work began on handbook, name tags and powerpoint slides. We went through a couple of different cover designs for the PDF forum handbook before finalising a simple design that forum committee members all liked. Next, all of the content was supplied to us for us to format and insert into handbook. Once the handbook was approved and set to the printers, we finalised the name tags and powerpoint slides template to match the look and feel we had created for the forum website and handbook.
